Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Financials and Basic Materials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.36%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which rose 2.53% or 0.24 points to trade at 9.72 at the close. Meanwhile, Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) added 1.41% or 0.85 points to end at 61.15 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) was up 1.33% or 0.24 points to 17.87 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which fell 1.67% or 0.06 points to trade at 3.23 at the close. Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM) declined 1.28% or 1.15 points to end at 88.50 and Kemira Oyj (HE:KEMIRA) was down 1.16% or 0.24 points to 20.44.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 84 to 80 and 24 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for October delivery was up 0.47% or 0.37 to $79.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September rose 0.63% or 0.48 to hit $76.67 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.31% or 7.70 to trade at $2,471.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.05% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.07% to 0.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 102.90.
