Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare, Industrials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM), which rose 2.69% or 0.68 points to trade at 25.94 at the close. Meanwhile, YIT Oyj (HE:YIT) added 2.57% or 0.14 points to end at 5.79 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) was up 1.79% or 0.0670 points to 3.8140 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DNA Oyj (HE:DNAO), which fell 5.82% or 1.0700 points to trade at 17.3100 at the close. Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) declined 1.96% or 0.108 points to end at 5.400 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) was down 1.67% or 0.195 points to 11.500.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 87 to 59 and 22 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for April delivery was up 2.40% or 1.46 to $62.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March rose 2.16% or 1.16 to hit $54.95 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.25% or 3.25 to trade at $1321.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.25% to 1.1473, while EUR/GBP rose 0.42% to 0.8766.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 95.232.
