Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Basic Materials, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB), which rose 3.68% or 0.350 points to trade at 9.850 at the close. Meanwhile, Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) added 1.84% or 0.64 points to end at 35.39 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) was up 1.49% or 0.255 points to 17.390 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1), which fell 1.90% or 0.078 points to trade at 4.033 at the close. YIT Oyj (HE:YIT) declined 1.52% or 0.08 points to end at 5.17 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) was down 0.93% or 0.0520 points to 5.5100.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 72 to 68 and 18 ended unchanged.

Brent oil for August delivery was down 1.19% or 0.91 to $75.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July fell 1.78% or 1.21 to hit $66.67 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.49% or 6.40 to trade at $1297.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.19% to 1.1628, while EUR/GBP fell 0.25% to 0.8737.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 94.35.
