Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Basic Materials and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.28%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V), which rose 6.57% or 2.30 points to trade at 37.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Valmt (HE:VALMT) added 2.16% or 0.34 points to end at 16.07 and Nordea Bank AB FDR (HE:NDA1V) was up 1.58% or 0.170 points to 10.930 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV), which fell 2.05% or 0.89 points to trade at 42.48 at the close. Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) declined 0.79% or 0.40 points to end at 50.55 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was down 0.79% or 0.19 points to 23.85.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 69 to 64 and 19 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for October delivery was down 0.48% or 0.25 to $52.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 0.55% or 0.27 to hit $49.12 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 3.27 to trade at $1261.43 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.44% to 1.1743, while EUR/GBP fell 0.02% to 0.9048.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.31% at 93.59.
