Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Services and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.25% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 3.45% or 0.57 points to trade at 17.23 at the close. Meanwhile, Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) added 2.47% or 0.23 points to end at 9.55 and Kemira Oyj (HE:KEMIRA) was up 2.45% or 0.54 points to 22.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV), which fell 2.38% or 1.28 points to trade at 52.61 at the close. Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) declined 1.84% or 0.90 points to end at 48.04 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) was down 1.41% or 0.29 points to 20.21.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 92 to 69 and 30 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for December delivery was up 0.49% or 0.35 to $71.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.66% or 0.45 to hit $68.12 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.84% or 22.75 to trade at $2,672.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.17% to 1.12, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.00% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 100.20.
