Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Healthcare and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.22%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA), which rose 2.99% or 0.89 points to trade at 30.63 at the close. Meanwhile, Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) added 2.02% or 0.068 points to end at 3.440 and YIT Oyj (HE:YIT) was up 1.97% or 0.10 points to 5.43 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which fell 2.97% or 1.01 points to trade at 33.00 at the close. Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) declined 1.90% or 0.68 points to end at 35.10 and Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB) was down 1.03% or 0.54 points to 51.72.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 79 to 70 and 15 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for February delivery was up 1.95% or 1.15 to $60.24 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January rose 2.72% or 1.37 to hit $51.66 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 1.60 to trade at $1231.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.10% to 1.1377, while EUR/GBP rose 0.45% to 0.8903.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 96.778.
