Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Industrials and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V), which rose 3.43% or 0.61 points to trade at 18.38 at the close. Meanwhile, Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) added 1.58% or 0.88 points to end at 56.43 and KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) was up 1.19% or 0.60 points to 51.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI), which fell 1.49% or 0.17 points to trade at 10.88 at the close. Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:TYRES) declined 1.46% or 0.11 points to end at 7.72 and Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) was down 1.36% or 0.07 points to 4.78.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 97 to 71 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) fell to 3-years lows; losing 1.36% or 0.07 to 4.78.
Brent oil for January delivery was up 1.39% or 1.04 to $76.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 1.57% or 1.12 to hit $72.59 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 2.50 to trade at $2,748.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.40% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.10% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.35% at 103.43.
