Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which rose 5.26% or 1.45 points to trade at 29.04 at the close. Meanwhile, Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) added 5.11% or 0.2780 points to end at 5.7200 and Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) was up 2.95% or 2.02 points to 70.52 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB), which fell 2.82% or 1.39 points to trade at 47.84 at the close. Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) declined 2.57% or 0.124 points to end at 4.700 and Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) was down 1.81% or 0.61 points to 33.10.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 89 to 49 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) rose to all time highs; rising 5.26% or 1.45 to 29.04.
Brent oil for September delivery was up 0.05% or 0.04 to $74.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 0.56% or 0.39 to hit $69.22 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.04% or 0.50 to trade at $1225.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.08% to 1.1652, while EUR/GBP rose 0.07% to 0.8889.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 94.49.
