Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Technology, Telecoms and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 4.07% or 0.3550 points to trade at 9.0700 at the close. Meanwhile, Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) added 2.28% or 1.35 points to end at 60.55 and Tieto Oyj (HE:TIE1V) was up 1.56% or 0.42 points to 27.36 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV), which fell 1.69% or 0.65 points to trade at 37.89 at the close. Nordea Bank AB FDR (HE:NDA1V) declined 1.66% or 0.190 points to end at 11.230 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was down 1.35% or 0.29 points to 21.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 75 to 65 and 16 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for December delivery was up 1.74% or 0.98 to $57.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 1.74% or 0.88 to hit $51.48 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.53% or 6.93 to trade at $1303.43 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.10% to 1.1843, while EUR/GBP fell 0.22% to 0.8900.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 92.81.
