Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 2.55% or 1.82 points to trade at 73.08 at the close. Meanwhile, Valmt (HE:VALMT) added 1.82% or 0.34 points to end at 19.01 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) was up 1.56% or 0.086 points to 5.590 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI), which fell 2.90% or 0.265 points to trade at 8.887 at the close. DNA Oyj (HE:DNAO) declined 1.76% or 0.3300 points to end at 18.4200 and Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMPO) was down 1.61% or 0.70 points to 42.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 81 to 64 and 15 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for December delivery was up 0.63% or 0.53 to $85.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.36% or 0.27 to hit $75.50 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.28% or 3.40 to trade at $1203.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.19% to 1.1525, while EUR/GBP fell 0.28% to 0.8872.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.22% at 95.34.
