Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.10% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which rose 1.97% or 0.162 points to trade at 8.404 at the close. Meanwhile, Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) added 1.97% or 1.32 points to end at 68.44 and Valmt (HE:VALMT) was up 1.06% or 0.17 points to 16.21 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV), which fell 1.25% or 0.35 points to trade at 27.63 at the close. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) declined 1.19% or 0.0700 points to end at 5.7960 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was down 1.02% or 0.27 points to 26.24.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 79 to 63 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 1.97% or 0.162 to 8.404.
Brent oil for July delivery was down 0.42% or 0.33 to $78.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June fell 0.41% or 0.29 to hit $71.20 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.17% or 2.20 to trade at $1291.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.08% to 1.1785, while EUR/GBP rose 0.17% to 0.8741.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 93.49.
