Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Services and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 3.60% or 0.47 points to trade at 13.37 at the close. Meanwhile, Mandatum Oyj (HE:MANTA) added 2.21% or 0.09 points to end at 4.25 and Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) was up 1.30% or 0.85 points to 66.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which fell 3.32% or 0.32 points to trade at 9.31 at the close. Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) declined 2.16% or 0.18 points to end at 8.25 and Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) was down 1.46% or 0.87 points to 58.83.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 108 to 63 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) fell to 52-week lows; falling 2.16% or 0.18 to 8.25.
Brent oil for January delivery was up 0.25% or 0.18 to $72.07 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.22% or 0.15 to hit $68.27 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.55% or 14.30 to trade at $2,592.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.54% to 1.06, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.24% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 106.35.
