Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Industrials and Basic Materials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA), which rose 2.79% or 1.70 points to trade at 62.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:TYRES) added 1.69% or 0.14 points to end at 8.56 and Kemira Oyj (HE:KEMIRA) was up 1.41% or 0.30 points to 21.62 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMPO), which fell 2.39% or 1.01 points to trade at 41.29 at the close. Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM) declined 1.03% or 0.90 points to end at 86.85 and Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI) was down 0.81% or 0.09 points to 10.47.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 87 to 78 and 22 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for November delivery was down 0.80% or 0.59 to $73.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 0.79% or 0.55 to hit $69.41 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 4.15 to trade at $2,596.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.02% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.27% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 100.61.
