Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Financials and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV), which rose 5.14% or 1.52 points to trade at 31.08 at the close. Meanwhile, YIT Oyj (HE:YIT) added 3.80% or 0.18 points to end at 4.86 and Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) was up 3.20% or 0.96 points to 30.95 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DNA Oyj (HE:DNAO), which fell 4.19% or 0.7200 points to trade at 16.4700 at the close. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) declined 3.78% or 0.1410 points to end at 3.5910 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) was down 1.96% or 0.255 points to 12.745.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 74 to 72 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) fell to 52-week lows; falling 3.78% or 0.1410 to 3.5910.
Brent oil for January delivery was down 1.37% or 1.06 to $76.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 0.89% or 0.60 to hit $66.44 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.58% or 7.10 to trade at $1225.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.09% to 1.1362, while EUR/GBP rose 0.42% to 0.8927.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 96.63.
