Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Healthcare and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV), which rose 2.64% or 2.00 points to trade at 77.65 at the close. Meanwhile, Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) added 2.28% or 1.20 points to end at 53.90 and Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) was up 0.90% or 0.03 points to 3.42 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which fell 1.97% or 0.35 points to trade at 17.44 at the close. Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO) declined 1.28% or 0.12 points to end at 9.23 and Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMPO) was down 1.25% or 0.49 points to 38.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 93 to 81 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE) fell to 5-year lows; falling 1.97% or 0.35 to 17.44.
Brent oil for August delivery was up 1.03% or 0.85 to $83.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August rose 1.13% or 0.88 to hit $78.93 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.82% or 19.30 to trade at $2,329.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.20% to 1.07, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.15% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 105.09.
