Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Technology, Telecoms and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were YIT Oyj (HE:YIT), which rose 3.85% or 0.20 points to trade at 5.26 at the close. Meanwhile, Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) added 2.02% or 0.75 points to end at 37.90 and Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1) was up 1.63% or 0.067 points to 4.188 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB), which fell 1.15% or 0.115 points to trade at 9.895 at the close. UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM) declined 1.15% or 0.37 points to end at 31.71 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) was down 1.08% or 0.38 points to 34.77.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 77 to 63 and 19 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for August delivery was down 0.08% or 0.06 to $76.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 0.52% or 0.34 to hit $66.08 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 1.80 to trade at $1304.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.13% to 1.1785, while EUR/GBP rose 0.36% to 0.8810.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 93.58.
