Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Healthcare and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V), which rose 2.39% or 1.45 points to trade at 62.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) added 1.27% or 0.39 points to end at 31.19 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) was up 1.07% or 0.070 points to 6.600 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which fell 1.07% or 0.42 points to trade at 38.74 at the close. Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) declined 1.06% or 0.065 points to end at 6.095 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was down 0.90% or 0.19 points to 21.01.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 71 to 57 and 29 ended unchanged.
Shares in Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) rose to all time highs; up 2.39% or 1.45 to 62.00.
Brent oil for December delivery was up 1.05% or 0.60 to $57.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.82% or 0.42 to hit $51.87 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 1.50 to trade at $1306.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.12% to 1.1808, while EUR/GBP fell 0.10% to 0.8889.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 92.99.
