Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which rose 1.19% or 0.34 points to trade at 29.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Valmt (HE:VALMT) added 1.14% or 0.21 points to end at 18.68 and UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM) was up 0.96% or 0.30 points to 31.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM), which fell 1.73% or 0.37 points to trade at 20.99 at the close. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) declined 1.23% or 0.0720 points to end at 5.7680 and YIT Oyj (HE:YIT) was down 0.77% or 0.04 points to 5.79.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 76 to 66 and 21 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for October delivery was down 0.04% or 0.03 to $72.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $66.89 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $1221.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.38% to 1.1566, while EUR/GBP fell 0.19% to 0.8995.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 95.22.
