The company confirmed to Bloomberg that it won’t renew its ground delivery agreement with Amazon when it expires at the end of the month, just two months after it said it wouldn’t extend its Express flying agreement with the giant tech company.
The delivery company still has a contract with Amazon for international deliveries.
Amazon has been building its own network of courier services, with hundreds of fulfillment centers and leased jets. The company is also starting a home-delivery service that is similar to FedEx’s ground units.
