LONDON, Oct 5 (Reuters) - European shares extended gains on Tuesday, after U.S non-manufacturing sector showed better-than-expected growth in September.
By 1404 GMT, the pan-European FTSEurofirst 300 index of top shares was up 1.3 percent at 1,064.37 points.
The Institute for Supply Management's non-manufacturing index for September rose to 53.2, against a forecast of 52. (Reporting by Harpreet Bhal)
