Investing.com - European shares rebounded after two days of falls on Thursday as solid earnings results lifted markets.
Markets were boosted by upbeat earnings from French insurer AXA and British bank Lloyds (L:LLOY).
But a 6% drop in Chinese stocks kept alive worries over China's economy ahead of Friday's G20 meeting there.
Oil prices also slumped but held above Wednesday's lows.
Pressure is on G20 leaders to get the global economy back on track and calm markets after a rocky start to the year.
