At the close of European trade, Germany’s DAX rose 1.32%, London’s FTSE 100 gained 2.22%, France’s CAC 40 climbed 2.12% and the EURO STOXX 50 was up 2.19%.
Meanwhile, on Wall Street, equity markets were up after the open. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.90%; the S&P 500 index gained 1.13%, while the Nasdaq 100 index climbed 0.90%.
