At the close of European trade, Germany’s DAX rose 0.52%, London’s FTSE 100 gained 0.44%, France’s CAC 40 climbed 0.55% and the EURO STOXX 50 was up 0.50%.
Meanwhile, on Wall Street, equity markets were up after the open. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 1.40%; the S&P 500 index gained 1.33%, while the Nasdaq 100 index climbed 1.20%.
