LONDON, Sept 13 (Reuters) - European shares extended gains in morning trade on Monday, led higher by financials, as new bank capital rules agreed by global regulators brought relief to the banking sector.
By 0907 GMT, the FTSEurofirst 300 index of top European shares was 1.1 percent higher at 1,092.60 points -- its highest level since late April.
