Earlier in the day, in its third quarter earnings report, DuPont said operating earnings per share came in at USD0.45, beating expectations for USD0.41 per share.
The company’s third quarter revenue totaled USD7.74 billion, below expectations for revenue of USD7.77 billion.
Meanwhile, the outlook for U.S. equity markets was subdued. The Dow Jones Industrial Average futures indicated a flat open, S&P 500 futures pointed to a loss of 0.05%, while Nasdaq 100 futures were little changed ahead of the open.
