Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Retail, Real Estate Development and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110), which rose 3.25% or 0.20 points to trade at 6.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) added 2.79% or 0.35 points to end at 12.90 and Middle East Specialized Cables Co (SE:2370) was up 2.60% or 0.20 points to 7.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Zamil Industrial Investment Co (SE:2240), which fell 2.62% or 0.70 points to trade at 26.00 at the close. Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) declined 2.58% or 1.10 points to end at 41.60 and Middle East Healthcare Co (SE:4009) was down 2.31% or 1.50 points to 63.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 101 to 38 and 30 ended unchanged.
Shares in Middle East Healthcare Co (SE:4009) fell to all time lows; falling 2.31% or 1.50 to 63.50.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.48% or 0.20 to $41.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.59% or 0.26 to hit $44.31 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.10% or 1.35 to trade at $1353.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.27% to 4.1823, while USD/SAR fell 0.07% to 3.7496.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.15% at 95.73.
