Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.96%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Tryg A/S (COP:TRYG), which rose 0.52% or 4.5 points to trade at 868.5 at the close. Meanwhile, William Demant Holding (COP:WDH) added 0.34% or 2.0 points to end at 587.0 and Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) was up 0.34% or 1.0 points to 294.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (COP:GEN), which fell 6.80% or 36.3 points to trade at 497.2 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (COP:CARLb) declined 1.47% or 8.5 points to end at 571.0 and Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb) was down 1.27% or 4.4 points to 340.7.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 103 to 58 and 4 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was up 2.90% or 1.38 to $48.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 2.44% or 1.34 to hit $56.45 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 0.47% or 5.60 to trade at $1197.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.31% to 6.8099, while EUR/DKK rose 0.08% to 7.4688.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.32% at 97.12.
