Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Chemicals, Personal & Household Goods and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 7.52% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which fell 2.52% or 22.2 points to trade at 857.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) fell 4.88% or 14.7 points to end at 286.3 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was down 5.97% or 28.9 points to 455.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW), which fell 15.70% or 75 points to trade at 401 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 13.04% or 31.8 points to end at 212.0 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 12.77% or 177.5 points to 1212.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 146 to 7 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) fell to 52-week lows; falling 15.70% or 75 to 401. Shares in Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) fell to 5-year lows; falling 13.04% or 31.8 to 212.0. Shares in Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) fell to 52-week lows; falling 5.97% or 28.9 to 455.0.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 5.40% or 1.78 to $31.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 7.74% or 2.77 to hit $33.02 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 3.10% or 50.90 to trade at $1591.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.76% to 6.6791, while EUR/DKK rose 0.07% to 7.4744.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.89% at 97.350.
