Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 4.48% to hit a new 52-week low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which fell 0.30% or 0.9 points to trade at 301.9 at the close. Meanwhile, Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) fell 0.45% or 0.7 points to end at 154.3 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was down 0.49% or 2.0 points to 408.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which fell 14.70% or 23.4 points to trade at 135.8 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CO:NOVOb) declined 7.24% or 21.9 points to end at 281.1 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was down 4.62% or 14.3 points to 295.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 104 to 19 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) fell to 52-week lows; down 0.30% or 0.9 to 301.9.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.39% or 1.83 to $74.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.66% or 1.43 to hit $84.86 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.12% or 1.50 to trade at $1201.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.20% to 6.4833, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4566.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 95.49.
