Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 3.29%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 1.09% or 4.2 points to trade at 388.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) added 0.52% or 5.5 points to end at 1070.0 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 0.31% or 3.0 points to 960.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 6.40% or 1500 points to trade at 21930 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 5.66% or 1240 points to end at 20680 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was down 5.07% or 34.5 points to 646.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 101 to 48 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 2.47% or 2.23 to $92.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 2.46% or 2.24 to hit $93.35 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 1.75 to trade at $1805.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.05% to 6.5002, while EUR/DKK rose 0.07% to 7.4440.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 95.430.
