Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 2.94% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were William Demant Holding (COP:WDH), which fell 0.62% or 3.5 points to trade at 558.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Tryg A/S (COP:TRYG) fell 1.34% or 1.8 points to end at 132.6 and Nordea Bank AB (COP:NDA) was down 1.68% or 1.35 points to 78.95 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS), which fell 8.05% or 31.1 points to trade at 355.4 at the close. Genmab (COP:GEN) declined 6.27% or 39.0 points to end at 583.0 and Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) was down 3.97% or 31.5 points to 761.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 127 to 29 and 3 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.27% or 0.11 to $41.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.54% or 0.26 to hit $46.91 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 2.11% or 23.80 to trade at $1151.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.70% to 6.6638, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4642.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.47% at 95.97.
