Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 2.79%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa), which fell 1.08% or 240 points to trade at 21920 at the close. Meanwhile, Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) fell 1.21% or 1.9 points to end at 155.4 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 1.26% or 300 points to 23430 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG), which fell 5.96% or 28.40 points to trade at 448.20 at the close. Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 5.57% or 17.0 points to end at 288.0 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 4.95% or 20.0 points to 383.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 117 to 33 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG) fell to 52-week lows; falling 5.96% or 28.40 to 448.20.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.59% or 0.52 to $88.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.47% or 0.42 to hit $89.89 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.16% or 2.90 to trade at $1807.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 1.15% to 6.5045, while EUR/DKK rose 0.06% to 7.4415.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.67% at 95.290.
