Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Software & Computer Services and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 2.76% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which rose 0.16% or 0.4 points to trade at 253.9 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) fell 0.50% or 36 points to end at 7180 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was down 0.85% or 1.8 points to 209.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 6.15% or 6.8 points to trade at 103.8 at the close. Genmab (CSE:GEN) declined 5.67% or 69.0 points to end at 1147.5 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was down 4.20% or 24.0 points to 548.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 99 to 30 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) fell to 52-week lows; losing 6.15% or 6.8 to 103.8.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 2.99% or 1.77 to $57.37 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.95% or 1.34 to hit $67.33 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.32% or 4.05 to trade at $1281.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.23% to 6.7051, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4664.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 98.023.
