Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Real Estate and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 2.61%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 5.11% or 16.6 points to trade at 341.6 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 4.85% or 434 points to end at 9388 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) was up 4.29% or 360 points to 8760 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which fell 14.29% or 63.4 points to trade at 380.3 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) declined 5.96% or 19.2 points to end at 303.6 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was down 4.23% or 28.6 points to 646.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 73 to 47 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 3.98% or 2.75 to $66.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 3.74% or 2.79 to hit $71.86 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.30 to trade at $1218.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.06% to 6.4294, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4544.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 95.07.
