Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 2.44%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 0.22% or 2.00 points to trade at 906.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) fell 0.17% or 1.40 points to end at 803.00 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was down 0.32% or 0.90 points to 284.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which fell 3.11% or 22.10 points to trade at 687.90 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) declined 2.72% or 9.80 points to end at 350.20 and Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was down 2.62% or 14.40 points to 535.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 94 to 50 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 2.60% or 1.95 to $76.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 2.44% or 1.95 to hit $81.82 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.24% or 24.95 to trade at $2,037.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.30% to 6.79, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 102.71.
