Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 2.41% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which rose 0.64% or 0.70 points to trade at 110.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 0.60% or 0.7 points to end at 118.3 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was down 0.22% or 2.5 points to 1141.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 5.73% or 16.2 points to trade at 266.6 at the close. Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 5.13% or 13.4 points to end at 247.9 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was down 5.13% or 59.0 points to 1090.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 52 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) rose to 52-week highs; rising 0.60% or 0.7 to 118.3.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 3.31% or 1.98 to $61.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 2.73% or 1.71 to hit $64.41 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.06% or 18.35 to trade at $1715.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.20% to 6.1623, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4361.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 90.933.
