Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 2.37%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which rose 2.77% or 3.00 points to trade at 111.45 at the close. Meanwhile, Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) added 1.84% or 11 points to end at 631 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was up 0.67% or 6.6 points to 992.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 5.53% or 68.0 points to trade at 1162.5 at the close. Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) declined 5.02% or 39.5 points to end at 747.5 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was down 4.68% or 13.4 points to 273.1.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 121 to 26 and 11 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.32% or 0.20 to $61.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.03% or 0.02 to hit $64.34 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $1808.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.02% to 6.1152, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4370.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 90.047.
