Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Technology and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 2.26% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb), which fell 0.54% or 2.1 points to trade at 388.9 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) fell 0.72% or 6.0 points to end at 830.2 and Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was down 1.53% or 14.60 points to 938.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 5.46% or 11.8 points to trade at 204.2 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 4.14% or 21.6 points to end at 500.6 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 3.83% or 18.1 points to 454.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 125 to 15 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 6.22% or 2.46 to $37.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 5.36% or 2.23 to hit $39.38 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.81% or 34.55 to trade at $1877.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.61% to 6.3461, while EUR/DKK rose 0.07% to 7.4449.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.63% at 93.515.
