Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Technology sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 2.26% to hit a new 52-week low.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 14.02% or 21.0 points to trade at 170.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) added 6.36% or 30.3 points to end at 506.4 and Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) was up 5.54% or 10.5 points to 200.0 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were DSV (CSE:DSV), which fell 14.72% or 79.2 points to trade at 458.8 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) declined 14.48% or 12.70 points to end at 75.02 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 10.67% or 664 points to 5558.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 109 to 35 and 10 ended unchanged.

Shares in DSV (CSE:DSV) fell to 52-week lows; down 14.72% or 79.2 to 458.8. Shares in ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) fell to all time lows; down 14.48% or 12.70 to 75.02. Shares in AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) fell to 5-year lows; down 10.67% or 664 to 5558.

Crude oil for May delivery was down 21.08% or 5.76 to $21.57 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 13.12% or 3.77 to hit $24.96 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 3.17% or 48.30 to trade at $1477.50 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 1.51% to 6.8968, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4733.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 1.99% at 101.790.
