Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Real Estate, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 2.19%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH), which rose 0.84% or 4.0 points to trade at 477.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) fell 0.64% or 2.5 points to end at 389.1 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 0.99% or 22.0 points to 2199.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb), which fell 6.21% or 162 points to trade at 2448 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) declined 5.68% or 62.0 points to end at 1029.5 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 3.96% or 15.1 points to 366.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 133 to 30 and 9 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.63% or 0.59 to $93.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.39% or 0.37 to hit $94.81 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.12% or 20.65 to trade at $1862.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.40% to 6.5809, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4430.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 96.295.
