Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Healthcare, Financials and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 2.17% to hit a new 52-week low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 2.14% or 2.00 points to trade at 97.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) added 1.88% or 13.20 points to end at 713.80 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was up 1.50% or 1.90 points to 128.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which fell 4.22% or 24.30 points to trade at 551.30 at the close. Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA) declined 2.31% or 16.50 points to end at 697.00 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was down 0.77% or 1.20 points to 154.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 70 to 63 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) fell to 52-week lows; falling 4.22% or 24.30 to 551.30.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.51% or 1.17 to $76.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.21% or 0.98 to hit $79.81 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.98% or 26.81 to trade at $2,721.89 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 1.26% to 7.17, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.08% at 108.03.
