Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Healthcare and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 2.12%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which rose 3.05% or 15.50 points to trade at 524.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 2.20% or 2.10 points to end at 95.50 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was up 1.53% or 3.20 points to 212.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA), which fell 4.90% or 36.00 points to trade at 699.00 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 4.69% or 62.50 points to end at 1,269.50 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 3.06% or 335.00 points to 10,625.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 93 to 44 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 2.20% or 1.67 to $77.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.87% or 1.49 to hit $81.25 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.08% or 29.34 to trade at $2,685.66 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.33% to 7.31, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 109.75.
