Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Healthcare and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 2.10%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which rose 0.35% or 0.5 points to trade at 130.0 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 0.27% or 24 points to end at 8754 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 0.04% or 0.1 points to 245.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 5.99% or 16.9 points to trade at 265.1 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CO:NOVOb) declined 3.52% or 11.1 points to end at 303.3 and Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb) was down 2.90% or 4.6 points to 154.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 47 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.81% or 0.42 to $51.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.11% or 0.67 to hit $59.81 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 1.75 to trade at $1291.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.08% to 6.5033, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4638.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 95.130.
