Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 2.06%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 1.99% or 210.00 points to trade at 10,770.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 1.93% or 200.00 points to end at 10,580.00 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 1.56% or 16.00 points to 1,041.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 7.76% or 12.80 points to trade at 152.30 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) declined 2.80% or 25.70 points to end at 892.90 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was down 1.44% or 3.80 points to 259.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 47 and 29 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.98% or 1.52 to $78.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.52% or 1.21 to hit $80.87 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.95% or 23.40 to trade at $2,496.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.18% to 6.82, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 102.92.
