Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Chemicals and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 2.03% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 0.40% or 2.8 points to trade at 709.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) fell 0.18% or 1.6 points to end at 872.8 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was down 0.41% or 4.5 points to 1085.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which fell 10.29% or 14.4 points to trade at 125.6 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 7.15% or 19.8 points to end at 257.0 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was down 4.53% or 25.8 points to 544.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 88 to 29 and 25 ended unchanged.
Shares in Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) rose to all time highs; gaining 0.40% or 2.8 to 709.0.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.18% or 0.73 to $60.93 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.88% or 0.62 to hit $70.00 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.04% or 13.35 to trade at $1300.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.03% to 6.6475, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4682.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 97.097.
