Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Personal & Household Goods and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.86%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 2.74% or 4.95 points to trade at 185.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) added 0.94% or 7.80 points to end at 833.80 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was up 0.48% or 5.00 points to 1,046.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV), which fell 2.99% or 42.50 points to trade at 1,380.00 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) declined 2.86% or 31.20 points to end at 1,061.00 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was down 1.83% or 2.50 points to 133.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 58 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.44% or 0.35 to $79.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.32% or 0.27 to hit $82.98 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.50% or 9.75 to trade at $1,973.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.15% to 6.73, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 100.90.
