Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.79%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 0.64% or 6.20 points to trade at 968.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) fell 0.64% or 2.5 points to end at 389.0 and Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) was down 0.75% or 5 points to 639 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM), which fell 6.51% or 55.0 points to trade at 789.5 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) declined 4.40% or 3.96 points to end at 86.10 and Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) was down 3.57% or 6.9 points to 186.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 109 to 35 and 11 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 3.46% or 1.38 to $38.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 3.07% or 1.29 to hit $40.78 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.03% or 0.55 to trade at $1904.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.42% to 6.2999, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4403.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 93.097.
