Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Consumer Goods and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.75%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to trade at 2182.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) fell 0.32% or 2.2 points to end at 687.6 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was down 0.67% or 7.0 points to 1038.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 4.38% or 9.9 points to trade at 216.3 at the close. Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) declined 3.54% or 20 points to end at 550 and Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) was down 3.39% or 8.8 points to 250.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 92 to 35 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Genmab (CSE:GMAB) unchanged to all time highs; unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 to 2182.0.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 6.56% or 2.65 to $37.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 6.12% or 2.61 to hit $40.02 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 7.45 to trade at $1774.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.36% to 6.6136, while EUR/DKK rose 0.05% to 7.4543.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.46% at 97.050.
