Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Chemicals, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.74% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which rose 1.16% or 2.8 points to trade at 244.9 at the close. Meanwhile, TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 1.03% or 0.38 points to end at 37.14 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was down 0.74% or 2.6 points to 347.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED), which fell 4.90% or 18.20 points to trade at 353.10 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 3.73% or 7.6 points to end at 195.9 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was down 3.08% or 16.2 points to 509.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 96 to 25 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.97% or 0.64 to $65.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.65% or 1.15 to hit $68.50 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.76% or 10.30 to trade at $1337.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.39% to 5.9732, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4430.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.57% at 88.98.
