Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.72%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which rose 0.53% or 4.8 points to trade at 911.8 at the close. Meanwhile, William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) added 0.23% or 0.5 points to end at 197.5 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 0.03% or 0.1 points to 318.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 6.44% or 38.0 points to trade at 552.0 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) declined 2.75% or 6.1 points to end at 215.7 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was down 2.62% or 2.7 points to 100.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 98 to 24 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) fell to 5-year lows; falling 2.75% or 6.1 to 215.7.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.70% or 0.40 to $57.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.77% or 0.49 to hit $64.11 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.56% or 7.95 to trade at $1428.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.04% to 6.6970, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4680.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 97.857.
